About Us

American Erecting was started in 1976 by David Maniha and Gilbert Palmer. These two veterans realized there is a better and more professional way to install everything from pallet rack to shelving to all things related to commercial storage.

They established a level of professionalism and efficiency that set the company apart from other installation companies. American Erecting has completed projects all over the United States and with every industry imaginable throughout its 47-year history. The American Erecting team is not just a crew but a family. The men you see on today’s projects have been with the company for at least a decade and take pride in everything they do.

In 2010 Santex Solutions needed an installation company that could help elevate the business and upgrade our installation process. From the moment both companies began working together a true friendship was formed that has seen over 13 years of growth, expansion into other areas of installation, laughs and success on every level. When David and Gil said they wanted to retire and asked if I would be interested in buying the business it was a rhetorical question. I couldn’t see a stranger taking over American Erecting and neither could they. I take great pride in carrying on the level of ethics, professionalism and sincerity that David and Gil established.
